Since 2014 Redhead Handcrafted Woods has done more than refine an old tradition: We've started a new one. Guided by romanticism for bygone traditions, we fuse modern day design aesthetic with rock solid craftsmanship. By using only the finest, locally sourced, and sustainable materials, we handcraft every piece from our small shop in Ayr, Ontario, Canada. Being from a small town and family owned, we take immense pride in where we’re from and who we are, so every piece that gets our stamp is guaranteed from top to bottom. Unfortunately these days, most furniture you buy is destined for a landfill the minute it leaves the factory, we aim to change that by making every piece a potential heirloom. Redhead Woods makes everything custom and made to order, involving the customer in every step of the process, with lead times of a week for décor, and a few weeks for larger items, every piece is worth your patience.

Born and raised in the small town of Ayr, Ontario, Canada, Travis Stotz is passionate about woodworking. Travis was raised with a large extended family and around his grandfathers large woodshop as a child. Though he didn’t pickup the craft until much later, he credits his grandfather with the base of his obsession. Though his grandfather has passed, Travis runs Redhead Handcrafted Woods in the same small town his grandfather ran his woodworking business, and doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon. Travis is lucky enough to have the help of his beautiful wife, Justine, who helps with all office related tasks, as well as bouncing ideas and designs off, to even sometimes giving ideas as well. Redhead Handcrafted Woods is a true family business, and hopefully one day Travis will work along side his son Felix.
